Field Service Engineer - Robotics Automation / Machine Tool - Coventry

This is a great opportunity working for a worldwide Robotics Automation business!

Your core tasks will include:

• Carry out ‘Planned Preventative Maintenance’ – Mechanical & Electrical repair to our range of RoboMachines Equipment.

• Installation & Commissioning of RoboMachines both in house & on customer sites.

• The foundation knowledge of the candidate background needs to be within the maintenance of either Vertical Milling or Electrical Discharge Machining or both.

• Assist in all aspects of customer care.

• Technical Support – provide technical assistance, both by telephone and by visiting customer sites.

• Customer Training – Provide customer training for customers in operating programming and maintaining techniques.

• Provide the above on site at customer bases around the country.

• You will be required to travel across the UK and occasionally abroad.

Your profile:

• Experience of testing and repairing machinery

• Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Knowledge

• Having experience of FANUC equipment would be desirable, but full training will be given

• Good analytical & problem-solving skills

• Effective verbal & listening communication skills

• Ideally you will have served an apprenticeship, have a BTEC, relevant City & Guilds or NVQ with a recognized qualification within the Engineering Industry and have post qualification practical experience, as well as:

• IT Literate

• A positive “can do” attitude

• Demonstrate high quality work ethic

• Hold a clean full driving license

Salary Package:

£35k + company car, bonus, overtime.
