We are working with a leading UK food manufacturing business operating one of the country’s largest chilled and bakery production networks.

This is a great opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established engineering team, supporting planned and reactive maintenance across high-speed food production and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Work on motors, gearboxes, conveyors, sensors, inverters and control panels.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns.
• Support planned maintenance during scheduled downtime.
• Assist with continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
• Ensure maintenance activity meets food manufacturing standards.
• Work with production teams to maintain efficiency and uptime.

Skills & Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Electrical, mechanical or multi-skilled engineering background.
• Strong electrical fault-finding experience.
• Solid mechanical maintenance experience.
• FMCG, food manufacturing or fast-paced production experience.
• PLC interrogation advantageous.
• Understanding of continuous improvement and reliability desirable.
