37.5 per week – Mon-Wed 07:30–17:15, Thurs 07:30–16:45

We’re working with a long-standing precision engineering and manufacturing business based in Ely, known for its continuous innovation and excellence in delivering high-spec components to customers across demanding sectors.

They’re now looking to add a Quality Engineer to the team – someone who can support both inspection and quality systems in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•Support production with quality feedback and improvements.

•Conduct CMM inspections using PC-DMIS and M-Cosmos (training provided if needed).

•Compile FAIR/PPAP and process inspection documentation to customer requirements.

•Investigate internal and customer non-conformances (RCA, CAPA).

•Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality issues and corrective actions.

•Handle customer returns, reworks, SDNRs, and NCRs.

•Assist in maintaining and improving the ISO 9001 QMS.

Key Requirements:

•Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.

•Experience with CMM operations (PC-DMIS and/or M-Cosmos preferred).

•Familiarity with FAIRs, bubble drawings, and process inspection sheets.

•Strong communicator and confident working independently or as part of a team.

•Experience within ISO 9001 environments.

•CMM programming experience is an advantage but not essential.
